Podcast / Branding / Web
Pilot podcast project focused on discussing the CD-ROM games that were packaged in cereal boxes during the early 2000s. Submitted as a project in the Signs, Referents, and Meaning course at the University of Toronto Mississauga.
Welcome to Games in a Box (of cereal)! Our host Kim and her brother, special guest Richard, discuss one of their first experiences with digital media. For them, these were the CD-ROM games that were packaged in cereal boxes during the early 2000s. The siblings talk about the joy of finding these CD-ROMs during breakfast, and rushing to play them on the computer. This throwback aims to leave listeners reminiscing about their own first experiences with digital media.
